  • Submit proof of enrollment and an invoice or receipt from the organization

Essential resources $150per member / year

Help with basic living essentials — food, clothing, transportation, a phone or utility bill.

  • Select the type of essential support needed on the application
  • Direct deposit form or void cheque for the legal guardian

School supplies $150per member / year

Backpacks, supplies, and the things a school year takes.

  • Provide a receipt for reimbursement
  • Direct deposit form or void cheque for the legal guardian

Youth work wear $250per member / year

Work-related attire to help working minors succeed in any industry.

  • Provide proof of employment — a job offer or employer’s letter
  • Direct deposit form or void cheque for the minor

Dental / Vision / Medical $200per member / year

Covers dental, vision, and medical costs not paid by other health plans.

  • May be used multiple times up to the $200 annual maximum (e.g., $100 dental + $100 vision)
  • Provide medical/dental/vision documentation with receipts or invoices
Eligibility: the minor must be a registered WFLFN #459 off-reserve band member aged 17 or under, meet the general eligibility requirements, and the application must be fully completed and signed by the legal parent/guardian — with guardian documentation attached. The Off-Reserve Liaison can assist.
